This Is Burundi Coffee (TIB) has built relationships with producers in Gasorwe Commune, partnering with the Izuba station to develop Karambo—a new washing station launched in 2021 focused on improving coffee quality and operations for greater producer profits. Located on Karambo Hill in Muyinga District, northeast Burundi, the station benefits from ideal drying conditions at 1500–1700 MaSL. In one year, Karambo doubled its processing capacity, quickly establishing Muyinga as a rising region for high-quality coffee alongside Kayanza.
